1. Classroom News Our Busy Week 11/11 – 11/15 We had a very healthy week in room 2! We learned how to keep our body’s healthy by brushing our teeth and washing our hands. We also learned how to stay safe while riding the bus from the singing bus driver, Joe. We made caterpillars for the letter “Cc” and learned about the shape triangle. We finished off our week with our pink day celebration. Upcoming Important Dates Turkey Trot Tuesday, Nov. 19th **Please join us 8:30AM** Brown Day Please wear brown Friday, Nov. 22nd Thanksgiving Break NO SCHOOL Thursday, Nov. 28th and Friday, Nov. 29th Our Upcoming Week 11/18 – 11/22 Next week, we will begin our study on Thanksgiving. We will talk about the first Thanksgiving and what we are thankful for. We learn about the letter “Aa” and the shape rectangle. • Ways to Help at Home • Look at a book together and see if your child can tell you a story by looking at the pictures. • Have your child look around your home and identify items that are in the shapes of circle, square and triangle. • Continue to practice the letters and numbers we have already learned: t,f,b,m,nand c.
