Current Accomplishments & Activities • Analyzed the FOCUS usage information provided during the Customer Conceptual Model Workshops to better understand current reporting needs • Identified the government-wide, standard reporting needs for the “Common Reporting Library” • Initiated development of the logical data models to identify the business entities and relationships for the data warehouse Requirements Technology • Documented the detailed technical requirements based on the conceptual model, and evaluated the reporting solution’s fit into NFC’s overall enterprise architecture • Initiated development of a Request For Proposal (RFP) for a System Integrator Teaming Partner to support the development of the Enterprise Reporting Solution Outreach • Developed the detailed outreach plan to effectively engage stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle • Created project communication processes and templates to facilitate the ongoing information-sharing between the NFC Project Team and customers
NFC Enterprise ReportingUpcoming Activities • NFC expects to finalize and release the RFP for a System Integrator to support the build of the Reporting Solution in the next 30 days: • NFC will partner with the Integrator to validate, select and procure the technology for the solution • Look for upcoming announcements on Build 1 implementation milestone and completion dates following the selection of the Integrator and development of the solution integration plan • NFC will partner with its Customers to accomplish the following activities for Build 1: • Common Report Library: Collaborate with the Reporting User Group (RUG) and other customer groups to validate the “Reporting Library” of government-wide standard reports • Functional Requirement Documents: Initiate development of detailed functional requirement documents (FRDs) for the common reports • Communications: Establish project communication channels and feedback mechanism to regularly exchange information and ideas between the NFC Project Team and customer stakeholder groups (e.g., website, electronic newsletter, feedback surveys, etc.) • RUG Engagement: Establish monthly touch-points with the RUG to support the design, development, testing and deployment of the Enterprise Reporting Solution
