The 40 Book Challenge Research shows the more a child reads, the better reader they become. Your 4th grader has been challenged to read 40 books from a wide range of genres. They are given time in school everyday to read, and are also asked to read for at least 10 minutes each night.

Homework and Projects Homework Policy – student will loose points for each missed assignment. There is written homework M-TH Project Policy – late projects will loos 10 points a date they are assigned throughout the school year
Calendars are to be signed every night, even if your child is not coded.
On the back of each behavior calendar is a test and due dates calendar – This will tell you what assignments, tests, quizzes, and projects are coming up Please check it each night
4th Grade • This is a year of transitioning • Grading is in the percentage scale • Students move from learning to read to reading to learn • Students are expected to become more independent
