May need to look at using a continuum of approaches including… • One-on-one • Videoconferences • Conferences • On-line courses/tutorials • Classes • Workshops • Lunch & Learn • Social events paired with educational material

The results are in • We had 19 parents start the project. • We had 9 complete a pre/post test measure • We asked parents 4 questions. • We asked parents to draw a picture of their family and label the members.

Draw a House, Tree, or a Person Activity • Popular in the 1950’s • When we draw pictures of self/family, we give some degree of understanding about our self image. • Our drawings should not be seen as hard science but rather as suggestions on which we may ask further inquires.
General Comment: • All the drawings in the series of 9 people seem to reflect a degree of immaturity/naivety based on the stick figure appearances. • Note the general lack on hands and feet. Our hands greatly help us cope with the world. Our feet keep us grounded. So when there is an absence of hands and feet, we wonder how the person is coping with solving everyday problems.
