MUGUNA “B” WATER PROJECT • In the village of Rwanyange in the Meru District of Kenya, women needed clean drinking water for their families. With the leadership and resource support from World YWCA through the Kenya YWCA, the women, with supervision from local YWCA Meru branch, organized themselves into a self-help group and designed Muguna ‘B’ water and sanitation project and hence succeeded in providing access to portable water with minimum resources.
