About Us CAREERS is the extension of the activities of the Center for Orientation and Documentation. • In 1992,the Center of Orientation and Documentation “C.O.D.” was founded and launched as first center for assessment and career counseling in the region. • In 2001, after 9 years of dedication to enhance Career Development in Lebanon, C.O.D. took a great unprecedented local and regional initiative by launching “FORWARD”, the first Orientation and Recruitment Forum in the Middle East! FORWARD immediately established itself as a highly anticipated annual meeting for all parties concerned with employment, education and training to interact effectively and keep up with the increasing challenges of the global market. • In 2002, further to the significant demand noted through FORWARD, CAREERS was created to carry out the same activities and services all throughout the year. CAREERS was soon asserted as a reputable company specialized in counseling, psychometric testing, training, recruitment and HR management consultancy.

Our Recruitment Process In the process of finding the right candidate, CAREERS focus on the quality of candidates, as well as the time it takes to find them: → Step 1: (2 to 3 working days) • Defining and Diffusing • CAREERS’ HR consultants define the Job Description of the vacancy and the matching profile of candidates • CAREERS’ HR consultants conduct research to provide a list of companies in the same field in Lebanon and the region to attract specified profiles for high senior openings • CAREERS will diffuse the job vacancy through postings on its website and spreading the word of mouth through network contacts and targeted mass mail to potential candidates.
Our Recruitment Process cont’d → Step 2: (8 to 12 working days) • Searching, screening, and proposing short-listed candidates: • CAREERS Recruitment Consultants screenrelated CVs already available in our database and if needed begin head hunting for candidates from the same market • Potential candidatesarescreenedand evaluated on two aspects: • The personality profile: assessed by our team of certified psychologists. • The professional skills and competency profile: verified by our team of Professional Consultants in various job fields. • A shortlist of 4 to 6 potential candidates that fully meet the job profile is proposed to the client.
Our Recruitment Processcont’d →Step 3:(duration subject to the client’s convenience) • Interview and Selection • CAREERS will coordinate the interviews between clients and candidates. • In case of successful selection • CAREERS check references with the validity of documents and assists in in the preparation of legal documents for the selected candidate(s) • CAREERS HR and training consultants prepare the candidate(s) for his/her 1st day of employment. • In case of unsuccessful selection • CAREERS will continue the search following the same order as above and refine the search
