  2. What is the Community Health Project? Who can participate? M1 Students (KC, Wichita, AND Salina campus) PharmD, RD, PT/OT, HIM, MPH students What will I be doing? working on a service project for a non-for-profit (pediatric oncology, health policy, urban agriculture) Where does it take place? Students choose the agency. *ANYWHERE IN KS, or KC-MO area We do have over 30 agencies to select from (i.e KHI, St. Baldrick, Sedgwick Co HlthDept, Silver City, JCoHlthDept, & MUCH MUCH MORE!!) What do I gain? 4 credit hrs + Stipend ($2500 -$4500) + Excellence Scholarship chealth@kumc.edu for more info

Two Opportunities for Roles in CHP • Student Intern • June to end of July • 8 weeks • $2,500 • Interview w/ 3 possible agencies of your choice • Unique Educational opportunities • Final Project and Presentation • Student Directors • March 2013-2014 • $4,500 scholarship • Organize, plan, communicate, advocate • Executive Director • Program Director • Education & Evaluation Director chealth@kumc.edu for more info

Application Process • Applications Available January • Director Applications due Friday, January 25 • Interviews for Directors (Jan 28 – Feb 4) • Directors Selected • Can submit one application for both roles • Intern Applications due February 8 • Interns Selected • Interns Interview with up to 3 agencies (Feb 22 – Mar 25) • Match Notifications Given (March 29) • 2nd Round Match if needed • Internship runs from June 3rd to July 26th (8 weeks) chealth@kumc.edu for more info
