I. Thyroid Helps control metabolism
Pancreas Secretes insulin which is a hormone that reduces the level of sugar( glucose) in the blood.
Parathyroids 4 located on the thyroid. They help control the level of calcium in the blood and helps maintain balance of phosphorus.
Ovary Secretes estrogen and progesterone in women.
Testes Secretes the male hormone testosterone.
Pituitary A sort of master gland. It is a cherry sized gland. The hormone it secretes affect growth and the secretion of other endocrine glands. The real boss is the hypothalamus – links the endocrine and nervous systems.

Adrenal A pair of endocrine glands just above the kidney They secrete epinephrine and norepinephrine which help to arouse the body in times of stress.
Pineal Gland Located in the brain. It secretes melatonin – a hormone that helps regulate wake/sleep patterns.
