Native American Center for Excellence • Launched in 2007, contract to provide training, technical assistance, and consultation to a variety of substance abuse prevention stakeholders, including: • Strategic Prevention Framework-State Incentive Grants (SPF-SIG) Tribal grantees; • Other Native and non-Native audiences (e.g., Native communities, health and social service providers, Federal and state-level organizations, and community and faith-based providers serving Native communities across the U.S.)
NACE Expert Panel • The NACE Expert Panel is composed of 11-14 Native American members with expertise and interest in the prevention of substance abuse within the Native American communities in the U.S. • Expert Panel members provide advice and guidance to SAMHSA and NACE on: • Service to Science Academy nominations, • Developing, planning, communicating, and disseminating information and training and technical assistance on a range of issues related to substance abuse prevention for Native Americans.
