Types of Informative Speeches • Public Lecture- lecture in front of a group or community. • Status Report- information over what has been accomplished and what plans exist for the future. • Briefing- used to inform members of changes in policies or procedures. • Fireside Chat- leader addressing concerns, worries, and issues of the moment. • Chalk Talk- Relies on a chalkboard as a visual aid.
