  12. Driving Emergencies • Brake Failure-Pump brakes, shift to lower gear, pull emergency brake • Tire Blowout-Grip steering wheel firmly, NO brake, NO gas, coast to side of road. • Avoiding Collisions- Stop, Turn, Speed up.

  13. Driving Emergencies • Skid-Take foot off the gas, turn wheel in the direction the rear of car is skidding. • Running off the pavement-Slow down regain control, turn slowly onto the road. • Stalling on the Tracks-Get out of the car and walk toward the train off the tracks
