  2. Read books. Do activities. Earn points. Win prizes! How to earn points: Read 1 book = 10 points Do 1 activity = 5 points Read for 30 minutes = 10 points

  3. Play, Read, Live! DO stuff! Go to a outside, sing, dance, build something, listen to music, go to a museum, research space or the moon. • READ stuff! • Read or listen to anything! • Books • Newspapers • Magazines • E-books • Audio books

  4. Earn digital BADGES as you earn points: 100 points 300 points 200 points

  5. Can you make it to 300 points? Prizes for Kids (ages 3-11) 100 pts – Book 200 pts – Expandable Flying Disc 300 pts – Medal

  6. Earn points, Win PRIZES! 1. Register @ www.hcpl.net starting JUNE 3rd. 2. Read and do activities. 3. Keep track. 4. Claim your prizes.

  7. How to register: Step 1 Go to www.hcpl.net Start registering on June 3rd!

  8. Step 2: Sign up • Register on your own, • or as a family. • Create a username and password (be sure to remember them!) • Include an email address so you will know when to collect your prizes. Returning users go here to sign in. New users start here to register.

  9. Step 3: Log Log books, minutes spent reading, and activities completed. 10 5 10 30

  11. Thurs. June 6th @ 3:00pm in the Community Center: Summer Reading Kick-Off with Julian Franklin’s show!

  12. Tuesdays & Thursdays Join us at the Community Center (across the street from the library) @ 3 PM every Tuesday and Thursday for fun, free programs!

  14. Drop-In Art Wednesdays at 3PM in the Pearl Fincher Museum (Next to the Barbara Bush Library). FREE! All supplies are provided. All ages welcome!

  15. Need a library card? • Ask a parent or guardian to fill out an application for you. • Take it to the Customer Service Desk and get your own library card!
