  1. Supplemental Figure 1The pedigree of 63 rice cultivars from Hokkaido. The color indicate the different groupings into which cultivars were categorized: red for Group I, orange for Group II, purple for Group IIIa, yellow for Group IIIb, green for Group IV, blue for Group V, and black for Aya and Nipponbare. The gray colors indicate the exotic cultivars which are the parents of key cultivars.

  2. λnPr(k) K2 K3 K4 K5 K6 K7 K8 K9 K10 Supplemental figure 2 The line graph shows the λn(k) values obtained using STRUCTURE program from K=2 to K=10. No decrease in λn(k) implies that positive structures existed in therice population.
