TOP FIVE BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ!!!! By Nathan Dixon
1. “The Throne Of Fire” By Rick Riordan 5. “The Prisoners Apprentice” By Stephen Elboz My Books 4. “Keeper of the Realms” By Marcus Alexander 3. “The Name of this Book is Secret” By Pseudonymous Bosch 2. “The Gladiator” By Simon Scarrow
1 “The Throne of Fire” By Rick Riordan BACK The reason why I chose Rick Riordan’s book “The Throne of Fire”, to be my number one book is because it is really exciting and full of action. If you want to read this book, I would recommend reading the first book(The Throne of fire is the sequel) the “Red Pyramid” because it will be a BIT confusing. Plot Basically it is almost the end of the world, AGAIN! Since the main characters (Carter and Sadie) have to fight against the giant snake (front cover) Apophis, who is about to break out of his prison. I truly enjoyed this book and I hope if you do read it you will like it too.
“The Gladiator” By Simon Scarrow 2 BACK I haven’t even finished this book but I still absolutely love it. There are many surprises and frightening moments. Plot Macro and Cato face a rebellion from the slaves that could ignite an uprising across the Roman empire. Against them stands, Ajax. A gladiator who has faced death daily. If anyone likes the ancient Romans, this is a great book to read.
“The Name of this Book is Secret” By Pseudonymous Bosch (not real name) 3 BACK I really like this book because everything is so unpredictable. Even the front cover doesn't tell you anything about the book. It is a very intriguing book to say the least. The author doesn't even want his name on the cover. It is basically a book of secret stories. Plot These two children, who are the complete opposites become friends and discover this really old andabandoned magician's house and reveal all the magician's secrets. I really like this book, not only is it really mysterious but the author keeps the storyline from the front cover right to the last page. This made the book impossible to put down.
BACK “The Keeper of the Realms” By Marcus Alexander 4 I really like this book, not just because the author came into our school but because it is so fascinating. It is a fantastic fantasy book about Treemen and flesh eating giants. Plot A girl called Charlie discovers that in her house holds the gateway to Realm of Bellania. Now the fate of Bellania rests on Charlie's shoulders as she needs the answer to a life changing secret that her guardian, Mr Crow has been keeping from her... I really like this book because it is really adventurous and surprising
BACK “The prisoners Apprentice” By Stephen Elboz 5 I think this is Stephen’s finest book so far; as it is exciting, beautifully written and leaves you thinking about the characters long after the story has finished. Plot Yanis has spent his life so far scrubbing socks in an orphanage. But that changes when he gets rescued from a life of drudgery by Mrs Pafnutkin . When Yanis goes to work for the odd but kindly Dr Gomarus his life changes forever. I think this is an great book to read, and if anyone does read it, I hope you like it.
