  2. samsurryPigram early life • I started racing when I was about eleven years old in Broome on Junior bikes up until I was about sixteen. It was very competitive and great fun in those days . But being a kid you always wanted to throw the helmet on the ground when something went wrong. I was very lucky in that I had good mentors – men like Bob O’Leary and Clarrie Jones – to whack me on the back of the head when I did something wrong.

  3. 3 important achivements There was about 10 riders,all from Perth .4 heats and a final..Sooty got 2 1st and 2 2nds 1. 2. 3. Sootys results where - • heat 1 -1st • heat 2 - 1st • heat 3 - 1st • heat 4 - 3rd • semi - 3rd • final - 4th He won the 1 that counted, and came away with the FIRST PLACE in Albany...

  4. 4 intresting facts • . From Albany to Alice Springs in 7 days, Sooty will have travelled around 11,000 km for 2 meetings... 1. 2.Sooty had the fastest lap time for the night and was clocked doin 148km/hr 3.Sooty raced last night at Pinjar Park in Perth and after quite a few stacks. 4.
