Reasons I chose to go to Alaska are: • I’ve always wanted to dogsled. • I can play hockey whenever I want to because it’s so cold. • Lots of different wildlife that I would like to see. • Snowmobile all the time.
I’m going there so I can: • PLAY HOCKEY • Go dog sledding • Hunt huge animals like bear, caribou, and moose. • Ride snowmobiles every day in deep snow.
The weather: • In the 40’s and 50’s because I’m going to go in July. • Should only be about 1 to 2 in. of precipitation during this month. • The sun rises at about 3:30 a.m. and sets at about 10:30 p.m.
Culture: • They do lots of arts and crafts because they have tons of natural resources that they can use to do them. • They are very religious people because they depend on the heavens to help the survive by allowing them to find and successfully kill animals. • They eat lots of seafood and some wild game that they kill themselves.
$!!BUDGET!!$ • $1127.75 per adult for plane tickets • I plan to spend $300-$500 on souvenirs. • Dogsleds will cost $30 for a 2 hour ride.
