What is a Cylinder Head ? • The cylinder head is key to the performance of the internal combustion engine, as the shape of the combustion chamber, inlet passages and ports (and to a lesser extent the exhaust) determines a major portion of the volumetric efficiency and compression ratio of the engine.

  4. What is a Hemi head? • With the hemispherical combustion chamber design, the intake and exhaust valves are usually on opposite sides of the chamber, unlike the in-line valve arrangement common to most engines with wedge-shaped combustion chambers. Therefore, significant challenges in the commercialization of hemi engines revolved around the design of the valve actuation, and how to make it effective, efficient, and reliable at an acceptable cost.

Springs, Retainers ,and Locks • The Valve Springs ,Retainers, and Locks will be purchased from : PAC RACING SPRING Southfield, MI Their Springs are made from a special alloy that was discovered by there company called PACOLOY. The retainers and locks are CNC machined from Titanium. www.pacracing.com

Our new address is 6402 Corporate Drive. • It fits our needs well being close to many top racing teams within 25 miles .We will have ample room with the building having a little over 100000 square feet. We will be welcoming many new Centroid 5 axis CNC machines and other equipment as needed.
