Mission Statement East Campus values innovation, creativity and achievement. This Campus Plan provides the initial stage of the planning process in preparation for the transition of leadership for the East and Winter Park Campuses. New leadership will have the opportunity to shape and establish priorities of the following Goals for each of the four Strategic Goals of the College. In the process of establishing priorities, outcomes will be identified as well as timelines for implementation and assessment for each of the goals.

Build Pathways • Expand relationships with the University of Central Florida to ensure curricular alignment and to provide transfer students a smooth transition. • Design and implement a representative enrollment team for East Campus. • Strengthen the relationship between Honors and PTK and develop an East Campus Seneff Honors College Research Track.
Learning Assured • Implement the strategic plan for a School of Arts and Entertainment that responds to demonstrated student and community needs, and includes new programs, revised facilities, strengthened relationships with community partners and new pathways for students. • Increase student success by implementing a team to analyze data regarding student learning. • Develop a plan to infuse student success skills into the top 10 enrollment campus developmental and general education courses. • Develop courses and programs to align with community, staff and national workforce needs.
Learning Assured • Develop curriculum that supports course outcomes and increases student completion. • Reengineer all campus learning support services to provide a more dynamic learning environment with increased results in student completion. • Enhance the Campus physical environment to support learning.
Invest in Each Other • Develop a campus safety plan. • Explore ways to enhance campus-wide adjunct orientation and training. • Increase campus wellness and fitness programs for faculty, staff and students. • Continue to support the Peace Initiative. • Expand Ombuds program for faculty and staff. • Explore methods of Campus communications.
Partner with the Community • Establish stronger relationships and programs with the community and local educational institutions. • Establish funding to bring at least one high-caliber exhibition (one that represents diverse cultures, global issues, and/ or socially relevant theme) per year to the campus. • Seek additional funding for the Humanities Speaker Series.
