  2. Once there was a no-legged turtle. He can’t walk. No, he can’t walk. But. . . he has wings to fly. His buddy is a snake. He lives at the Playground. His name is Mr. No Leg. Sophie

  3. Toucans are special because they have colorful beaks. Grady

  4. I like my snake. Alex

  5. Once there was a dinosaur. He loved to eat leaves. Walter

  6. My snake’s name is Count Duku. Joshua

  7. My creature battles Count Duku. Nick

  8. Once there was a bird. He could fly. He broke his wing. He couldn’t fly again. Then he bit it for a long time. Gabi

  9. I like snakes. They are dangerous but I like them. They are yucky but I like them! Benjamin

  11. My penguin likes to go to the North Pole. He eats goodies that Santa gives him. Annalee

  12. Once there was a whale that lived in the ocean. And then he saw a shark. The shark bit his flipper. Zackary

  16. Once there was a snake. He ate a tree boa. He did not feel well. The snake went back to the house to have a rest. He tried to catch the mouse with the cheese. David
