Between work, school, family, and friends, life can be hectic and stressful at times. However, many dental problems aren’t caused by age or genetics—they can be caused by negligence or complacency when it comes to maintaining your teeth.

But did you know there are a few other things you can do to take care of your teeth? Here are some easy tips to keep your teeth in top shape: ● Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water or other healthy drinks throughout the day ● Avoid eating sugary snacks like ice cream or cake ● Eat more veggies for strong enamel on your teeth ● Visit your dentist regularly for checkups and cleanings ● Chew sugarless gum after meals to help reduce tooth decay -Beware of acidic foods like citrus fruits that can cause enamel erosion ● Schedule regular dental visits to maintain good oral hygiene Use fluoride toothpaste Fluoride is a mineral that’s found in many foods and in water. It’s also added to some toothpastes. Fluoride helps prevent cavities by making the tooth enamel stronger. It also helps repair early cavities. You can get fluoride from drinking fluoridated water or using products with fluoride, such as toothpaste. Other things you should do are brush your teeth at least twice a day and rinse with mouthwash after brushing. Try not to eat too much sugar because it causes cavities.
