Thermometer • The thermometer was invented in 1730. The thermometer was used to measure temperature.
Barometer • When a barometers readings are fair that means it is not going to storm . When it is on stormy that means it is not going to storm.
Anemometer • Anemometers measure how fast the wind is going. Faster the wind is blowing the faster the anemometer will spin.
Hygrometer Hygrometers measure humidity. One kind of hygrometer. One kind of hygrometer has two thermometers. One kind of hygrometer has a cloth around it.
Rain Gauge • A rain gauge collects rain. One kind of rain Gauge has a cloth around it. Another kind has two thermometers on it.
Weather Vane • Instrument used to indicate wind direction. They are usually on top of houses so it can tell you witch way the wind is going.
Nephoscope A nephscope measures altitude, direction, velocity of the clouds
