  4. Circle of Learning A Learning Model

  5. Knowledge Acquisition The process of acquiring or revising knowledge. Laerdal products that primarily serve this sector are referred to as Knowledge Resources.

  6. Skills Proficiency The development of psychomotor skills to master practical procedures. Laerdal products that primarily serve this sector are called Manikins or Skill Trainers.

  7. Computer Simulation The use of a computer program simulating patients to develop decision making and emergency skills. Products that primarily serve this sector are called Heart Code, E-Learning Products, or Computer Skills Trainers.

  8. Simulation in Teams Group practice of realistic scenarios to improve teamwork, leadership and communication. Products that primarily serve this sector are called Patient Simulators

  9. Clinical Experience Learning through reflecting on the treatment of real patients, personal tuition and exchange of knowledge with colleagues.
