STAR TECHS: DISTRICT 30 MODEL • Definition is the same • Special school club • Empower students • Advance their level of technical skills • Assist other students with computer skills • Assist teachers with computer needs • Name selected by each school • Emphasis • no loss of learning time while doing school tasks

STAR TECHS AT WORK:LOWER ELEMENTARY • 1st to 3rd grades (including ESL classes) • boot up machines, fill printers, report problems • shut down & cover machines • weekly cleaning • Training by Technology Specialist or upper grade Star Techs • Assist teacher and other students in the classroom with computer projects (KidPix idioms). • Digital photography, scanning
