The project website and the Intranet are two different information tools: a) www.icon-project.eu is the Internet project website to be targeted to the public audience; it will contain the project presentation, the calendar of the project public activities, the reference contacts, all the documents foreseen as project outputs (public deliverables), and the SMEs space (includes access door to KMS).   3. b) The Intranet is an internal tool, whose access is limited to the project partners via login/password; it will contain the project time-plan (with foreseen deadlines), the calendar of all the project activities, all the working documents, a communication platform (to be used in place of standard email), and a reporting tool (to be used for reporting mandays and external costs spent on the project (for the LP: a project monitoring tool).   4. The project website will be bi-lingual: not 2 mono-lingual parallel versions, but a single version with double wording (same as the pay-off companion of the logo). Home page: project logo (big format), mandatory logos, main menu (left), Intranet door (left), calendar (right), SME space (right), project presentation (centre; text + pictures), Italian partners (left), Slovenian partners (right), disclaimer (bottom). The project full project presentation The partners  list of partners (PPn order): brief profile, logo linked to the partner’s web site, geographical map with labels and clickable spots The activities  list of WPs: brief description, foreseen outputs, WP leader/co-leader, contacts + link to WP page Documentation  list of documents delivered by the project (reports, studies, guides, etc.) + list of reference documents (titles in both lang., text ita slo or eng) Main menu /1 Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze

Press area list of press articles about the project, list of press releases, videos of public events Photo gallery  pictures of people involved in the project, of project events, of productive locations, etc. FAQ  answers to common questions + ASK facility Contacts  list of contact references by region/partner + contact form (similar to the ASK facility) Registration  devoted to SMEs whishing to be informed about project activities (id. in SME space) Main menu /2 Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze

The Intranet functions will be those built-in in the 4PM software; they will be rendered available through an ad-hoc interface (no double login needed to access the reporting section of 4PM). • Main features: • mailbox: single persons, working groups, all • document repository: sharing, versioning, releasing procedures (authoring, validation, publication) The Intranet Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze

All the project partners should contribute to the alimentation of the website and of the KMS. • We expect a permanent flow of information from the partners to the web / KMS administrators. • In particular: • Date of events to be posted in the calendar • Documents to be posted in the Documentation area • Enterprise profiles to be posted in the SMEs space • Press articles (scanned) and press releases • Photos and videos Partners’ contribution Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze

  10. The KMS will be fed by a group of ‘KMS feeders’ selected among the project partners (at least 1 per partner). Each KMS feeder will have his/her own private account to access the KMS feeders’ page. The software will keep track of the KMS feeders’ activity (watch out!). All the objects posted in the KMS are public, i.e. freely accessible by the generic Internet user: project documents for internal use only may be found in the project Intranet.
