Transport • No out of catchment buses • Out of catchment can subscribe to catchment bus if there are spare seats at a cost of £500 approx • However if new catchment students arrive you could lose that seat • Some parents set up a car share
Science – BAYS visits • Students visit Walton’s science department (about 1 hour) • Accompanied by their primary teachers • Carry out an experiment linked to burning and fire safety
English – transition activity • Based on Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo • Currently being read in primary English classes • Students given a Walton’s Kingdom sheet • Partially complete and return on Induction Day or Evening • Complete in first week back
PE activities • Y6 Tennis on Monday’s 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm • Y6 Sports Day • Thursday July 10th • 9 am to 12 pm approx • Run by our Y12 Sports Leaders • Mixed teams
