Nagged • To annoy by constant scolding, complaining,or urging. • An annoyed mother nagged at her children.
Figment • Something invented, made up, or fabricated. • The nightmare was just a figment of my imagination.
Reminisce • To recollect and to tell of past experience or events. • The grandparents sat there, reminiscing all afternoon,remembering old times.
Essence • The most important ingredient, the crucial element. • Time is of the essence.
Genuine • Actually being what it seems or is claimed to be. • This is a genuine diamond.
Temptation • Appeal strong to. • I have a temptation for candy.
Aspect • One of the ways in which a subject or situation may be looked at or thought about. • We have to consider all aspects of the situation.
Embedded • Enclose in a surrounding mass. • Happy moments are embedded in my memory.
Resentment • The feeling that one has at being injured or insulted. • Everyone feels resentment when they are injured or insulted.
Vindictiveness • Bearing a grudge; wanting revenge. • A vindictive person is never forgiven.
Occult • Beyond the bounds of ordinary knowledge. • Science is a very occult subject.
