About the Artist-in-Residence project • The purpose of the residency is to record in visual terms (chiefly drawings and prints) the historical redevelopment of the Ashmolean Museum. • The artworks encompass two categories: drawings and woodblock prints. • The subject of the drawings is partially the Museum staff and partially Ashmolean site builders, they are together transforming the Museum. • The subject of the woodblock prints is inspired by observing the progress of the Museum redevelopment.
