  4. “…There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him. Isaiah 53:2 Jesus “made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” Philippians 2:7

  5. Jesus was NOTICED by other people.

  6. “Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity.” John 12:25

  7. “…If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul” Mark 8:34-36

  9. Jesus DEEPLY VALUEDother people.

  10. Followers of Jesus… are ordinary, everyday people who others take notice of and who value people deeply.

  11. WEEK 1 CHALLENGE 1. Go to a public place and people watch. 2. Recognize the true value of each person you see. 3. Pray for each of them individually.
