Landsort Maritime & Environmental Center Established 1998 when the Maritime Administration (SMA) decided to close down all look-outs in Sweden To be a local collective partner for government support in the search for new jobs and new businesses Our method for local development: Basis in a jointly, locally produced program (Landsort 2020) Take initiatives to and verify new businesses opportunities, not operate Work for a modern infrastructure The Center is a complement to the activites of the local entrepreneurs

Current focuses 2017 Infrastructure 1. Harbours - Environmental assessment process 2. Housing - Make sure rental housing opportunities 3. Zoning plan - Impact assessment of different future solutions 4. Broadband capacities - Three options to examine University coop and visitors activities 5. KIKA at Landsort - Moving into search for financial solutions (Viabal project a part of this) 6. Nature conservation area - General supervision and upgrading Entrepreneurship 7. Flex-ofice - A tested and feasible business idea 8. KIKA-foundation - All year activity with full time employees (and indirect job creation in local service companies)
