March 2004, the French police attache in JAKARTA informs our office that 3 young deaf and dumb Indonesian boys are victims of sexual aggressions and rapes committed by a French national who lives in Indonesia.
Minors – Bowo, Susilo and Ekwan are “employees” of the suspect. They study in a school for deaf and dumb minors in Yogyakarta : “Dria Mannungal”. They declare they have been sexually assaulted for several years. At the beginning of the assaults, they were 12 and 14 years old.
The suspect lives near the school, with one of the victim, his “adopted” son.
Victims interviewed in deaf and dumb language with assistance of members of a French association. An investigation is carried out in France for rapes and sexual aggressions committed on 15 years old minors. In the meantime, the suspect leaves Indonesia...
...to go to different South East Asia countries March 2007, Indonesian authorities give their agreement to execute an international judicial request for assistance sent by France. Two French investigators are authorized to go to Indonesia.
The Interpol NCB and the regional police district of Yogyakarta give their support to the French investigation. Two victims are interviewed by Indonesian Police and with the assistance of a deaf and dumb translator, in presence of French investigators. Interviews are filmed on the spot. Witnesses’ testimonials are collected as well.
In France, other witnesses , members of Solindo association are interviewed. We get the information that the suspect has left Cambodia for Argentina.
We get in touch by email with the suspect and convince him to come back to France. June 2008 : Arrested at Roissy airport in PARIS. He denies accusations, saying that he is victim of “conspiracy” and “rumors” and that victims accused him in exchange of money. He admits receiving only several “massages” from the minors. Incarcerated after the police custody. fr
Investigation is still on going with other witnesses testimonials collected in France and in Indonesia, due to the action of our French attache in JAKARTA.
September 2012, sentenced to 8 years imprisonment by the criminal court in PARIS.
