Common occurrences and affected risk’s at large • The probability of bone spurs happening to you is only increased with age the usual spurs happening in the spines of the late 60’s or older • Risk factors include advancing of age, disc problems, joint instability, poor posture of the body, and the occupation involving repetitive stress
Causes of This Disorder • Bone spurs occur due to continued stress or rubbing of the bone for a prolonged period of time • This is usually due to inflammation or osteoarthritis • The cause happens because after so much stress the bones try to form new ones in response of the stress and inflammation
Treatments • Treatment for this disorder depends on the problem you’re having the most common being pain which is treat with medication • A doctor might also suggest physical therapy while it wouldn’t cure it, it would help with some of the problems you’re having • In rare form and injection of a steroid to the joint can reduce the pain you’re having due to the spur
