Study Skills Daniel Cole
Goals • Time-Management • Activities • School • Concentration • In class • Studying
Background • Activities • Clubs • Organizations • Personal Activities • School • Concentration • Active learner • Lecture oriented classes • Never had to study
Statement of Work • Time-Management • Planner • Time organized so none is wasted • Quick reference for what needs to be done at a certain time
Time-Management • Daily to-do list • All activities and work that need to be completed written down • Checked off as completed
Concentration • Studying in the Library • 6-10 Hours in the Library a week • Hours logged and time spent is evaluated
Deliverables • Small notebook with hours listed out • Small notebook with each day’s checklist • Pages with logged hours and comments
Work Effort • Planner and To-do List • 5-10 a day • Writing into • Referencing • Checking off • Library • 6-10 Hours a week • More than that usually
Evaluation Criteria • The to-do list was very helpful • The library was good to keep me away from distractions, but started becoming a hassle itself at end of semester • Planner became a task • Did not enjoy it
My grades are good, could be slightly better • Time managed well for the most part • Tasks performed and accomplished • Would choose a new task other than the planner if I had to start over • The to-do list was the most important and helpful
