  2. Student’s Self-Intro on the Forum Here is an example of the student’s self-introduction posted on the forum: My Chinese name is Hsieh Yah-lien, and my English name is Alice. My interests are badminton, piano, and reading. My favorite food is ice cream. I have resolved to help people in need since childhood, therefore I want to work as a successful entrepreneur, and use my money to help improve society and help others. I want to go to many countries in the future, such as Australia, because I want to go to Sydney to visit and watch an opera. I also want to go to France, because the cuisine is world famous. I hope one day to be able to make a lot of money, then I can visit the world together with my parents.

  3. Using Pictures in Dialogues To make the dialogues more interesting, students have learnt how to post pictures as visual aids to their words. For example, they posted pictures of their school to make their school-introduction more vivid.

  4. Posting Interesting Videos Students make good use of free online resources, such as Youtube videos, to tell other students about themselves.
