  1. ELIGIBILITY REPORT (ID47) REQUIRED PAPERWORK BEGINNING ’04-’05 By following these two pages of instructions, you will be able to print ALL the eligibility rosters for the Spring season. Additional instructions (see “note:”)indicate how to print Fall and Winter eligibility rosters too. Type ID47,3 then press <enter> to go onto the next page. Note: ID47 is the program number for the eligibility report. The ,3 means this will be a customized sort. This ,3 can be placed behind many programs that you may use like: ID48,3; ID99,3; ID41,3; ID1,3; MR22P,3; AT22E,3; ID05,3. See the Quick reference guide in this packet for an explanation of these programs. Everything in SIS must be done in ALL CAPS, make sure your CAPS lock key is down. Type 1 in order to get only active students. Caution: Most people use “4” instead of “1” here. It really doesn’t matter, but if you use “4” you may have an athlete on your roster that checked out the day you printed the roster, or an inactive student on your student roster. Select <enter> to accept the days date, and go onto the next page.

  2. Type 627 N to select all the athletes on all the Spring teams. Note: This assumes that you have entered your athletes in field(s) 628 and/or 629 already. You only need to enter athletes in field 629 if the athlete is a dual sport athlete during any one season. Example: Track & Field and Baseball. Note: Use 621 instead of 627 for Fall teams Use 624 instead of 627 for Winter teams Note: If you want to print an eligibility roster for only one team, use 627 C ##, (where ## stands for the team number, i.e. 01 for V Football) on the “student selection” line in place of 627 N. Optional: Type 628 #99 to exclude students that you have entered “not eligible” in field 628. Note: You can enter 99 in fields 622-629 if you want to indicate that a student is not eligible for athletics for reasons such as: 19 year old, bad grades, opportunity transfers, etc. This is discussed in the advanced SIS training booklet. Press <enter> to skip down to sort selection. Type 627 for sort selection so that the eligibility rosters will be separated by team, then press <enter> to go onto the next screen. Press <enter> to accept the “DO” start a new page as a change of sport. The report will print immediately following the processing. Note: See “ID47 add an athlete” instructions to learn how to do an add form through SIS.

  3. This is the eligibility report. Note: This report must not have any blanks to be accepted by the athletic office. Use the troubleshooting section below to investigate blanks or problems with this report. Troubleshooting: Name, address, zip, birthdate, permits, or permit date are not accurate: see your SIS coordinator, it’s nothing that you entered. School last year missing or wrong? Go to fields 632-639 to make sure the 4 digit school code is filled in across from the associated sport field on the left. Semester number incorrect? Check field 601 in ID01 to make sure it is correct after checking the paper cum. Sport name is missing? Make sure when you get to the “sort selection”, you must type 621 for fall, 624 for winter, and 627 for spring. Leaving this step out will leave a blank for the sport. Remarks missing? Field 618 is blank. Completing 618 allows the AD to make common remarks regarding transfers by using these codes in 618. Use 2 for 214 sent, M for moved, O for other. Names deleted for confidentiality
