DisadvantagedFamilies: • low-incomefamilies • single-parentfamilies • families in which the parents have a low level of education, poor parenting skills or a history of psychiatric disorder • families that lack social supports or community connections • children and families in the developing world

  3. Inourschool more than 90% of thestudentscamefromdisadvantegedfamilies.Familieshavemanychildren, sometimes more than 5-6. Theyhavelowincome and parentshaveloweducation.

  4. The Goal of our school is to help these people : • Financially: everything is free for the students, books, food, extra lessons. • We have a student’s hostel where the most disadvantaged children can live. • Wehavespecialteachersforstudentswithspecialneeds • Wehavevocationalschool, wherestudentscanearnmoneytohelptheirfamilies.

  5. If you work with people from disadvantaged background it is not enough to give them money, you should find a solution for their problem.

  6. We start some needed professions in our school, so our graduating students can easily find job.

  7. - Hairdresser - Velder - Mason - Almoner - Dressmaker

  8. These professons do not require heavy theoretical knowledge but talent.Maybe ourstudentsarenotthesmartest, buttheyaregoodatthesethings.

  9.  Our goal is to develop strategies that will improve the psychosocial health of these children and ensure they have an equal chance at becoming well-adjusted and productive adults.

  10. Weshouldgive them opportunity to have meaningful life.

  11. Wehelpnotonlytostudents, buttheirfamilies. Wecangivethemjobatourschoolas a maintenance, cleaningorteacherassistant.

  12. Our school often hosts free courses where our parents can learn usefur professions.

  13. Wehaveadulteducationtoo, whereolderpeoplecangraduate, thantheycanhavebetterjob.

  14. Family – Shoolrelationship is alsoimportant. It is importanttoorganizejointprograms. The otherimportantthing is familyvisits. Easiertounderstandtheirbehaviorifyouseetheplace and conditionstheycamefrom.

  15. Family visit also helps selecting donations.Every year we get things form associations and individuals. Knowing family background helps to give useful things for them.
