Chapter Study Results – New Affiliation Requirements • New chapter affiliation requirements as of January 1, 2012: • All 100%-Chapters • Minimum of 25 SHRM members AND • 100% SHRM membership • All Non-100% Chapters • Minimum of 25 SHRM members AND • Minimum of 51% SHRM membership • Applies to all existing and new chapters - no grandfathering. • Chapters not currently meeting new affiliation requirements will have a five year period (through 12/31/2016) to do so.
Fortune Forty Team • New initiative to assist chapters who do not meet the new 51% affiliation standard AND the 25 SHRM member minimum. • Multi-year effort that kicks off in the first quarter of 2012 • Led by two Field Services Directors • Webinars for Fortune Forty Team members • Other resources to ensure success

The Fortune Forty Team Member • Chapter presidents to select the team member • Could be him/herself • Could be another board member • Could be an interested member of the chapter • What do we need from the team member? • Passion for the cause • Energy and enthusiasm • Willingness to lead effort at chapter level • 2 year commitment

Rewards & Recognition Task Force • Comprised of 15 volunteers and key SHRM staff • Facilitated by Mariner Management • Call for volunteers sent out after Leadership • Over 100 volunteers applied to fill 15 task force slots • Members selected - diverse in terms of chapter size, geography and volunteer experience
Rewards & Recognition Task Force • Virtual meetings over the next 6-months to: • Provide input on rewards & recognition for chapters • Review options and prototypes, and • Provide feedback on the feasibility of proposed programs from a chapter implementation perspective. • Goal is to have TF recommendations finalized by the end of June 2012.
