Contribution to the implementation of theEuropean Landscape Convention, whose aims include (Article 3) the improvement of knowledge, the identification and assessment of landscapes, and the definition of landscape quality objectives. • Article 1 (Definitions) • “Landscape” means an area, as perceived by people, whose character is the result of the action and interaction of natural and/or human factors.
