The definition of academic mobility • Academic Mobility is a transfer of a student, a researcher or a teacher to another educational institution which has enabled program of study or research for a long but limited period of time (term, academic year).
Importance of academic mobility • Increasing competitiveness and improving quality of higher education • Increasing competence of students and staff in their work sphere • Development of technological, social and cultural aspects of society • Maintaining of valuable contacts between students and academic staff throughout Europe and mutual understanding.
