  3. Information about Purified water Purified water is water from any source that is physically processed to take away impurities, any nasty chemicals or lumpy things. Distil water is one of the common causes of Purified water. And it can also be purified in many different ways. Including reverse osmosis. In recent decades, a combination of the above processes have come into use to produce water of such high purity.

  4. Steps to Purified Water Stage 1Our water begins its journey by entering our Water Softener. This is used as a pre-treatment to remove the hard minerals, iron, manganese, and other trace metals from the water. Stage 2It continues on to an Automatic Carbon Filter. This filter is used to remove chlorine , organic compounds ,pesticides and other chemical contaminates commonly found in many water supplies today. Stage 3The third station is our One Pre-Filter, which is used as one of the final pre-treatment stages prior to the reverse Process. This filter will remove any fine particulate matter in the water. Stage 4Our water then enters our Ultraviolet Disinfection System, which is used as another of our pre-treatment processes. Even though water is chlorinated, there have been past cases where there has been contamination in the water. Our feed water Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit will kill microorganisms that may be present in the filtered municipal water Stage 5At this stage, the water is delivered to our Reverse Osmosis System, which will remove over 99% of any remaining mineral and chemical contaminants from the municipal water. Our water is now classified as purified water but will still undergo our exclusive secondary filtration and disinfection process. The now purified water is stored in an Approved Storage Tank. This tank contains an air vent which is used to keep airborne contaminates from entering. Stage 6 From the storage tank, the water proceeds through Carbon Block Granulator Activated Carbon Post Filter. This filter will provide primary filtration of the purified water prior to disinfection and bottling

  5. Continuing on ten steps Stage 7Once again, the water is sent through a second Ultraviolet Disinfection System, the primary process. The purified water will pass through the UV where a 254 wavelength nanometre which is emitted through the water. This wavelength is highly concentrated and will provide up to 99% destruction of any remaining microorganisms in the water. Stage 8At this stage, our .2 Sub-micron Post Filter, five times finer than the One-Micron Filter in Stage 4, will provide the final filtration step to assure optimum clarity and purity of the water prior to bottling Stage 9Our final step is through our Ozone Disinfection System, which provides secondary disinfection of the water. Ozone is simply another form of oxygen and is used for final disinfection of the water prior to bottling. A small amount of ozone remains in the bottled water product for a short period of time, which will not only help disinfect the water, but also the bottle in which it is placed. Stage 10Finally, the purified O Water is bottled in a sanitary clean-room that excludes airborne contaminates. Our equipment is sanitized daily prior to every production run, and all of our bottles are carefully cleaned and sanitized prior to filling. That’s the end of the 10 STEPS TO PURIFIED WATER

  7. C O N C L U S I O N I have enjoyed learning about water this term. I feel that this topic has given me a lot of knowledge about water. I have learnt a lot about water. And now I can use this knowledge in the future and maybe I would have a job associated with water.
