High Points from Data • ■All schools are accredited—Charlottesville is one of 36 school divisions with all fully accredited schools!! • All schools met the Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) requirements for the Gap Groups in Reading and Math for 2012-2013!

High Points from Data • ■ All schools are accredited—Charlottesville is one of 36 school divisions with all fully accredited schools!! • ■ All schools met the Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) requirements for the Gap Groups in Reading and Math for 2012-2013! • ■ SAT scores continued to rise and remained above Virginia and national averages! • For SOL scores in the advanced proficiency level, CCS equaled or exceed Virginia averages in 30 of 34 areas!
Areas of relative need academically • ■ All contents will be focus areas for increased AMO targets and Accreditation Standards • ■ Accelerate learning for individual subgroups – economically disadvantaged, Limited English Proficient, Students with Disabilities for achievement and graduation • ■ Targeted and ongoing monitoring to increase graduation rates and reduce dropout rates.
Plan for Data Use • ■Meetings were held with principals, assistant principals and instructional coordinators to review data at the division and school-specific levels. • ■ School leadership teams are using the data to create and revise school improvement plans. • ■ Data visits at schools will be conducted during the school year to review updated data and progress toward targets for achievement.
