BUSINESS PLAN Summary Who are we We are a Business started to challenge other rental services and provide a better service What do we produce/offer? we offer DVD’s, games, music CD’s and plain DVD’s and CD’s. Which and how many customers? People over the age of 16 are availible to sign up and register, apart from that everyone can join in First year turnover if everything goes to plan then our turnover will be double that of the leading DVD rental First year profit? 1/3 of the leading DVD rental, reason why it differates is because more money from the turnover will go into better service and more DVD’s

Your first few steps... we plan to start off by making a website and advertising on buses and other public vehicles, then we shall start trying to advertise on the television and our business shall head off from there Facilities and Location(s) At the moment we have 20 bookshelfs as tall as a person stacked full of DVD’s ready to be shipped out, we even have back-ups for the newest and most popular in case one gets stratched we also have about 1000 DVD envelopes ready to ship with, also we havea high-spec design computer for art design of the website and more in case of offers, posters and promotions

BUSINESS PLAN Financial Analysis • Initial Capital • savings that we have made and subscriptions that have started already • Total Funding Needs • Most of the cash needed is already in a savings account and it will be easy at the beginning because as people sign up and request DVD’s the amount they pay will be higher than the cost of running the service for that one person, therefore there will be profit from the beginning pretty much • Investment • DVD’s that are requested only so we don’t have lots of unwanted DVD’s • Loan • If everything goes as planned there will be no loan needed
