Goals and outcomes: Presidential decree for the establishment of an intersectoral committee in charge of early childhood Analyze current policy and it’s implementation to propose improvements Advocate for increased investment in early childhood to increase access to higher quality programs for young children and their families Generate support within the private sector Global Leaders for Young ChildrenEl Salvador Advocacy Project
Strategies: Succesful Project Launch: presenting the project to Sectors: health, education, protection and bring to the table a Family /Women committee congresswoman UNICEF and Plan international signed on to support committee formation and conduct a policy analysis Attending initiatives conducted by different sectors: networks on early Childhood, documentation revision and presenting Save the Children Work. Conducting workshops and roundtables. Leveraging: integrating the Advocacy Project into a broader initiative regarding ECCE: parents participation, Community Educators, Protection System and health promoters training.
