  3. 2 Surveys Gift cards for teachers who complete the TLES survey (separate from the VAL-ED survey) Format will be faculty/special meeting Training will be available through streaming webinar changes

  4. Online tech support from Discovery Education during VAL-ED survey Rosters of eligible faculty Signatures utilized for receipt of code and to keep track of who has taken survey changes

  5. Val-ed survey New Eligibility Requirements: Work in TLES pilot school Have at least 8 weeks of experience in the school with the principal Classroom teacher –OR- Non-classroom teacher with full-time instructional responsibilities or instructional oversight responsibilities

  6. VAL-ED Survey – NOT ELIGIBLE Staff who are not full-time or move between buildings LMSs (Library Media Specialists) Assistant Principals HOST teachers High school teachers **There is a self-eval for the principal, which is the only survey he/she should complete. School support staff Part-time staff Subs Nurses P.E. coaches with no classroom instructional responsibilities Building maintenance staff or transportation staff

  7. Tles survey New Eligibility Requirements: For TLES Pilot Schools and BAU (Business as Usual) Schools For Reading/ELA or Math ONLY Employed on campus for at least 3 previous months

TLES Survey – NOT ELIGIBLE Instructional Facilitators Music teachers Art teachers PE teachers LMSs (Library Media Specialists) Principals/Assistant Principals HOST teachers High school teachers BilEd, or SpEd teachers of reading/ELA or math General education, BilEd, or SpEd teachers of science General education, BilEd, or SpEd teachers of social studies/history Pre-K teachers Short-term subs Teacher aides/paras
