Plan The Harness • How many connectors do you need • Max DC/Servo Motor Controllers is 4 so use 4 • How long should the connectors be • Between controllers can be short • Use the first for the battery • Use the Last for the Samantha
Measure Out Lengths Make middle lengths the same Longer for Battery Longer for Samantha Stripping the ends is easy but doing the middle is not.
Strip Middle Wires • Cut with knife • Fold back • Peal back insulation with long nose pliers
Crimp On Connector Crimp Connector Place on connector Finished connector Warning!!! DO NOT OVER CRIMP
Correct Way To Insert Into Cap When inserted correctly it will snap in place. Make sure it is square with the metal side down. Use a small screw driver to push it in place.
Slide Hook Together The two parts will slide and lock together. Make sure the are on the correct side when you do this. The harness will be opposite the straight parts connected to the controllers
A Few Caveats Samantha cable is smaller than other cables Take a piece of 12 gauge wire and wrap Samantha 20 gauge wire around it before crimping Battery cable is larger than other cables Peal some of the wire back on the black wire to get a snug fit Red wire will work with no adjustments
