Hall Pass • You are responsible for your pass. (pass out 3x5) • You get only 3 passes this semester. Use them wisely. • They are in the black box on the side of the teacher’s desk • Only leave when instructor is not giving instructions. • One at a time out of the room • Be sure I know you are leaving.

Obtaining Materials • Gather materials for projects and assignments when instructed. • Markers, glue, scissors in front of the room • Labs- • flour, sugar behind demonstration table • Spices in the cupboard near kitchen 6
Completing and Returning Work • Daily assignments turn into turn in box at the side of the room when you leave each day. • After hours: • Place in main office box • Email turn in is acceptable • Slide under classroom door • Nutritional Wellness- • lab binders on the top of the bookshelf near instructors desk • Turn in Market Orders into the turn in box Returning work – in the return box near the lab doorway.

Leadership • Need 100 points by the end of the semester. • You are responsible to keep track of your points. • Examples: • Child Development • Babysit for free • Volunteer at YMCA/boys and girls club • Be involved in child care program for open house • Be involved in the cooking club • Nutritional Wellness • Cook at home • Volunteer at a food related businesses • Be involved in the Friday workshops after school
Pet Peeves • Cell Phones! • Please turn off or silence your phone while in class. • When phone is out, it distracts the educational process for you and those around you. Really! • First: phone taken away and returned to you at the end of the period. Phone call home. • Second: phone taken away and turned into the main office. You may get your phone at the end of the day. • Tardy to Class! • First 5 are dealt between student, instructor and/or parents. • 6th one is dealt with the administrator
