Mission Statement-Preparing people to be better witnesses for Christ physically, mentally, and spiritually. • Physically-Create a healthier you and make it possible to reach a new demographic of nonbelievers-potential believers! • “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” –Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) • Mentally-Learn the discipline and endurance that it takes to “Run the Race Set Before Us.” • “There we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” –Hebrews 12:1 (NKJV) • Spiritually-Learn always to give GOD the glory for all that we accomplish. • “I will praise thee, O Lord my GOD, with all my heart: ad I will glorify thy name for evermore.” –Psalms 86:12 (KJV)
Objectives- • To introduce the sport of running and to help you learn all that you need to know in order to make it enjoyable, satisfying and rewarding. • To understand the pitfalls that can come from letting anything become an idol to you. • To understand the parallels of enduring a sport like running with enduring your faith. • To understand how to become a better witness while doing something that you enjoy.

Run for God Format • Accountability Meeting- • Held once a week on Sundays at 4:00. • Review and Discuss the weekly Bible Study as well as new topics on running. • Training Days- • 3 days a week. • Preferably skipping a day in between each workout. • Prescheduled days: Sunday after Accountability Meeting, Tuesday at 6:00, and Thursday at 6:00 • Race Day!- • After 12 to 14 weeks we have several choices to book our race. These include: Chick-Fil-A Run on June 29 and Zoe’s Rainbow Dash on July 4

When and Where Should You Run? When • In your neighborhood • Secondary roads (always against traffic) • Parks • Tracks (middle and high schools) • Sidewalks • Treadmills Where • Early, before the day starts • Lunch break • Afternoon, before dinner • While kids are at ball practice • On your way home from work • Make a day of it: take the kids and bikes.
