Women • Long shirts and leggings • Rough, thick robes usually made from animal skins that women had to prepare themselves • Moccasins were also made from animal skins look similar to modern day Moccasins • Trusses covered women’s chest which most of the time made from grass • Sometimes women added accessories to their everyday wardrobe whether to symbolize their culture or value towards something • Beaded necklace, porcupine quills or feathers

Men • Common headdress made from a large amount of eagle feathers length of headdress could symbolize a mans seniority within the tribe • Leggings • “Boot” moccasins to cover a larger amount of the legs due to the amount of time spent hunting • Some decorated their faces with ink marks to symbolize things in nature and their culture as well as wearing decorative items like women

  4. Interesting Fact • Grandmothers would make ‘dancing’ costumes for grandchildren that would be used during rituals to present the maturity level that the child has reached
