Goals of Laurea • Many young graduates  regularity in the academic career more important than marks • Good methodological and technical education complemented by context culture and languages • Openness to context culture: history of modern thought, history of architecture, history of music • In Italy: 1° level education traditionally oriented to basic education, rather than to professional issues. Professional issues limited to the industrial placement.
