  3. Elizabethan England • 1530’s – early 1600’s • Named because -England was under the rule of Queen Elizabeth I • Joined –The Lord Chamberlain’s Men • He became an-Actor • Eventually he Wrote and Acted in his own plays • Which were performed at The Globe Theater
