May 2013 School inspection 1- 4 Grades : 4 Categories Achievement, Quality of Teaching, Behaviour & Safety of pupils, Leadership & Management MVC achieved Grade 2 – ‘Good’ in all 4 categories an improvement on previous report. The ACT project contributed to this improvement in the area of our provision of Spiritual, Moral, Social & Cultural education.
Spring and Summer Terms 2013 MVC have ambitions to become an ‘Outstanding’ school MVC works towards joining The CombertonAcademy Trust 4 schools and a 6th form college working together
The Comberton Academy Trust • ‘Good’ is not enough! – want MVC to be outstanding • Leadership at MVC have been considering how to best achieve this • On September 1st 2013, MVC became a part of the Comberton Academy Trust
The driving purpose in all of our Academies is ‘Excellence for All’. This is embodied in our 5 core principles.
Principle 1 : Excellence The highest of educational standards
Principle 2 : Comprehensive Excellence must be for every individual pupil
Principle 3 : Henry Morris Each college must be at the heart of its local community and serve it well
Principle 4 : Partnership Each Academy must seek to work with others for mutual benefit All are better off due to working together
